Think Big

Thinking big is linked to self-esteem and confidence and therefore leads to high standards of performance. You might ask how? If your self-esteem is poor and you don't believe in yourself, you will not be able to think big because you'd think that people would mock you for your big ideas. Something I can't really refrain from mentioning because it is linked to thinking big is that believing in yourself is what makes people believe in you. This applies in speeches, work, etc. Similarly, if Also, keeping the balance between thinking big and not feeling conceited, but rather feeling humble, is important to keep on taking positive steps towards success with people's respect and support.

Thinking big has a lot of so-called bi-products such as being able to be a decision maker, being a leader, engaging and becoming more competitive, never giving up or giving in, and always being determined and persevering. Thinking big instills in a personality these different characteristics that are essential to the success of the ideas. If you think big and are not able to take proper and prompt decisions, you idea might unfortunately not succeed. If your not competitive, determined, and willing to put in the efforts needed to get your point or goal on point, you will not make it till the end.

In terms of personal experiences with thinking big, sometimes jealous people try to put obstacles in your way of success. Or maybe even give you negative messages to try to deter or even stop you from pursuing your goals but because you persevere and think big you keep going with positivity and high morals trying to achieve your goals and not giving up. Witnessing this determination and momentum inevitably compels these jealous people to start respecting you and your work though they might not like you personally... they have to anyway!!

Keeping goals practical, realistic, and measurable is an essential aspect, but dreaming and setting goals is a whole world on itself and so dream as big as you want. We might not necessarily accomplish all our set goals and we need to face this fact, but setting the goal is certainly the first step up the hill towards the top.

Note: Share your thoughts and tell us what some of your big dreams were/are and whether you accomplished them or on the way to reaching them!
